Well at least here in North Georgia new cabin sales are catching up with existing cabin sales. That usually means that the inventory for older cabins is getting low and people can not find what they are looking for unless they build it. That being said most of the foreclosure properties have also changed hands so the super deals are fewer and father between. So if you are in the market for a cabin YES now is the time to buy. Prices have stabilized along with building supplies and that should be the start of price increases from the lows we have been experiencing over the last 3 years. One piece of advice, buy a cabin with something that sells! water, view, great outdoor living etc. Something that sets it apart from all the rest not just price.
